The Robotic Welder will program, troubleshoot, and optimize the robotic welding cell to ensure consistent, high-quality welds and efficient production flow. This position also supports other fabrication processes as needed to keep operations running smoothly.Run and master our robotic welding cell program, troubleshoot, and keep production flowing at peak performance. You'll drive precision, efficiency, and quality while leveraging your expertise with Fanuc robotic welding technology, automated systems, and HMIs.This position is second shift, with availability required starting at 2:00 PM, working 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate and program the Fanuc robotic welding cell to deliver precise, high-quality weldsTroubleshoot, maintain, and optimize robotic welding equipment to minimize downtimeSupport fabrication processes such as cutting, grooving, plasma cutting, and end prepInspect and repair welds to meet strict quality and customer specificationsFollow OSHA and company safety standards while keeping the work area clean and organizedCollaborate with team members and supervisors to improve workflow and performanceKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience operating Fanuc robotic welding systems and troubleshooting automated machineryStrong foundation in welding principles (MIG welding required) with the ability to pass a weld testFamiliarity with fabrication processes: cutting, grooving, plasma cutting, and end prepAbility to read technical drawings, fabrication sheets, and weld specificationsStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in manufacturing environmentsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required2+ years of robotic welding experience, preferably with the Fanuc robotics systemsWelding certification or equivalent training preferredCertifications & LicensesAbility to pass operator exams for powered industrial equipmentHand and/or Machine Welding certifications a plusPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentFrequent standing, walking, and handling materialsRegular lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional movement of heavier materialsWork involves exposure to moving parts, shop conditions, and moderate noiseMust remain alert and work safely at all times
