Anticipated, School Counselor 2026 - 2027 School Year Franklin Middle School @ the Sampson G Smith Campus DESCRIPTION: School Counselor (11 Month) POSITION SUMMARY: Provide daily service to students in accordance with Board approved curriculum, policies and practices. QUALIFICATIONS: * Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: School Counselor Standard or appropriate certification * Ability to maintain a positive learning environment * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act * Successful Criminal History Clearance * Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 11 - Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. COMPENSATION In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 School Year is Step 1 BA/BS + 45/ MA ($70,523) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
