Job Title: 1st Shift Warehouse Worker Job Description Join a dynamic production company specializing in the manufacturing of grout and concrete as a long-term warehouse worker. This role is essential in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and requires dedication and teamwork. Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently for material movement, loading, and unloading, comprising 60% of the shift. Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, process orders, and update stock levels accurately. Communicate professionally via email and phone to address inventory discrepancies, order updates, and coordinate shipments. Engage with drivers and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and pickups. Perform material handling tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. Essential Skills Minimum of 1.5 years of warehouse experience. Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory and order management. Experience operating sit-down forklifts. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience using email platforms (e.g., Outlook) in a professional setting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Keen attention to detail and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Customer service skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an industrial environment located in La Mirada, CA, with operational hours from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:40 pm, with mandatory overtime of one hour before or after the shift. The job requires wearing steel-toed shoes and provided PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, and respiratory masks, although masks are not required 100% of the time. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Mirada, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
