Job DescriptionJob Title: Survey PM / RPLSType: Direct Hire Work Location: Hybrid position located in Addison, TX.Candidates must currently reside in the Greater Dallas / Fort Worth, TX area. Required Skills & Experience: Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor's License (RPLS) 5-10 plus years of post-licensure experience. Proficient with MS Word and Excel as well as AutoCAD/Civil3D. Experienced with Topographic, ALTA, Boundary, Construction staking surveying for Land Development, Mixed use, Commercial and/or Transportation Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.Big Bonus Points if you Have: Experience with Bentley Microstation/Open Roads Designer. Sound functional/technical skills in the role.Job Overview:The Surveying Lead is responsible for business development including pre-proposal contacts, proposal preparation and presentations, and client maintenance and support for the firm's public relations efforts. The Surveying Manager will recruit and develop a team of survey professionals, technicians, and field staff and effectively lead staff toward completion of project and business unit goals. The Surveying Lead communicates regular progress and status reports on project deliverables to all project stakeholders and the management team while continually seeking opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen the client relationship. Must be a RPLS with 10 years experience, 5 of which is in a manager position, the candidate must also be growth oriented and able to grow their footprint.Essential Job Responsibilities: Ability to successfully manage projects including developing scope of work, schedule and fee. Balancing workload and resources. Supports business development efforts, leads the preparation of proposals. Responsible for developing new business. Develops and maintains existing client relationships. Serve as key contact with clients. Capable of conducting critical negotiations and handling controversial issues. Exercises skill in persuading and negotiating or critical issues. Demonstrates good judgment in handling and solving complex technical and people assignments. Extensive knowledge of standard practices for land surveying. Individually able to carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development and implementation of new or improved techniques or procedures. Able to successfully lead and supervise a project team on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. Ensure that all aspects of the project are followed through to completion which includes clients' meetings, project team communication, monitoring budget and progress and A/R collections. Generally recognized as an expert in the field. Provides technical, design and project management services in support of surveying. Active in professional organizations, professional development and mentoring of staff. Maintains a network of relationships within the field.Job Requisition #39383#LI-RS1 #Survey #HybridA reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $130,000 - $170,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
