Job Summary: As a leader within the People & Culture organization, the Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) will provide strategic direction and leadership for Trimont's enterprise-wide DEI vision and initiatives. This role is responsible for shaping, executing, and sustaining strategies that promote an inclusive culture where all team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute. The Director, DE&I will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, implement metrics and leverage data to drive measurable outcomes across the employee lifecycle, and ensure DEI principles are embedded into organizational practices, policies, and decision-making. This position reports to the Chief People Officer and is based in Atlanta, GA. The role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of four days per week onsite to enable collaboration, leadership engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Additional office presence may be required as business needs dictate. Responsibilities: * Provide enterprise-level leadership in the development, execution, and evolution of Trimont's global DEI strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, values, and People & Culture objectives. * Establish clear DEI priorities, goals, success metrics, and accountability frameworks; regularly assess progress and recommend adjustments as needed. * Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leaders and people managers on DEI-related opportunities, risks, and organizational impact. * Use data and insights to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, inform leadership decisions, and drive continuous improvement. * Partner with People & Culture to support consistency and inclusive decision making across all stages of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, rewards, succession planning, and engagement. * Oversee the design, customization, and delivery of DEI programs and learning initiatives, leveraging existing resources while developing scalable solutions tailored to organizational needs. * Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective deployment and adoption of DEI initiatives across business units and geographies. * Provide governance, oversight, and strategic direction for DEI Council and other Trimont Resource Groups (TRGs) to increase engagement, leadership development, and cultural impact. * Serve as Trimont's DEI subject matter expert, staying current on U.S. employment-related legislation, DEI best practices, and emerging trends. * Provide guidance, training, and education to leaders and employees to strengthen inclusive leadership capabilities and cultural awareness. * Partner with Marketing and Communications to shape DEI messaging and storytelling, ensuring consistent and transparent communication of initiatives, events, and progress both internally and externally. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered. * 7+ years of progressive experience creating and implementing successful inclusion initiatives in a global workforce, with demonstrated enterprise-level impact. * Proven ability to analyze data and trends, translate insights into strategy, and deliver measurable results. * Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, HR practices, and DEI-related compliance considerations. * Demonstrated success influencing and partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. * Expertise in program design, project management, and organizational change management. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and data analytics story telling. * Cultural fluency and sensitivity across a broad range of backgrounds, identities, and experiences. * Experience in financial services or professional services environments preferred. * Proficiency in inclusive recruitment, retention, and leadership development strategies. * Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity. * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. * Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-based culture.
