Pay and BenefitsPay: $16.40-17.45/hour with a 12% shift differential added when working Weekend shift hours Competitive pay, medical benefits, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with company participation, and a wide range of elective company benefitsEssential Functions and ResponsibilitiesReads production orders to determine items to be gathered, staged and assembled.Conveys materials from receiving area/warehouse to production or storage.Sorts, places items on storage racks.Marks materials with identifying information.Operates forklift, hand trucks, or dolly to convey items.Safely loads and unloads trucks (after successfully passing forklift training and test).Manage phase in/out of materials to minimize risk of obsolete stock.Completes Daily cycle counts and reconcile results to ensure accurate inventory records.Participate in the annual physical inventory count team as assigned.Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pick-up of goods.Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages.Assist & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits and other information needs.Moves W.I.P from department to department to help move products through the production cycle.Receive inventory: Verify product and quantity received is accurate.Process in-bound and out-bound shipments.Helps to pack when needed.Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.Completes daily shift duties.Maintaining cleanliness of dock and receiving area.Assists in training individuals and other team members as assigned.Complies with established safety procedures and policies.Works with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and/or validations.Focuses on Continuous Improvement, Quality, Improved Cycle Times, Safety, Cost Reductions, and Customer Satisfaction.Complies with company policies, procedures, and core processes.Performs other job duties as assigned.Requirements Ability to work well in a team-based manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsAbility to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends or holidays as neededAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkEducation and ExperienceHS Diploma or GED required.Previous related experience preferred.Physical Requirements & Environmental ConditionsManufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals; OSHA safety standards enforced.Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks requiring bending, reaching, and stooping.Ability to operate equipment and visually inspect product.Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.Work AuthorizationMust be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
