Position Title: Electrician Location: Tysons, VA (Onsite) Clearance Requirements: None Position Status: Contract Pay Rate: $29 - $34 per hour Position Description: We are seeking a motivated and safety-driven Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical electrical and emergency power systems across a large commercial campus environment. This role is ideal for hands-on electrical professionals who want to expand their experience with UPS systems, data center equipment, and high-voltage electrical infrastructure while working as part of a collaborative technical team. The successful candidate will assist senior technicians and team leads with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response activities, ensuring uninterrupted power and reliable system performance. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of emergency power systems, electrical distribution systems, UPS systems, and associated equipment * Support troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical malfunctions, system failures, and design modifications * Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, including 120V, 208V, 277V, 480V, and medium-voltage systems up to 12,470V * Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, work orders, and manufacturer documentation * Participate in preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance * Support electrical and mechanical systems tied to data center and critical infrastructure environments * Serve as an escort for vendors and contractors when required * Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards * Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach while performing additional duties as assigned Required Skills / Education: * 1+ year of hands-on experience in commercial electrical maintenance or repair * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Valid driver's license * Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and safety practices * Ability to read and interpret schedules, drawings, and technical documentation * Willingness to complete technical training for UPS systems, data center equipment, and critical power infrastructure * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel * Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills * Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused mindset About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
