Senior Contracts Specialist (Part-time)

Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems.  All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Riverside Research is seeking a part-time Contracts Specialist .  He/She will be responsible for cradle-to-grave experience with Federal Contracts, Grants, Commercial Products, Subcontracts and Procurement related activities. The ideal candidate should have proposal cost volume and day-to-day experience in the full range of contracts and require independent judgment and identification, analysis and resolution of significant issues.  He/She should have knowledge of the ever changing and developing Government Contracting environment.  Contract/Procurement ManagementExperience in all areas and phases of Government Contracts; Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements, Proposal Preparation, Cost Volumes, Pricing, Negotiations with Customers and Close-outsAn Understanding of FAR, DFARs and CMMC requirementsExperience with Commercial Products and Reseller agreements, to include FAR Part 12Proven skills in risk identification and mitigationStrong understanding of DCMA compliance requirementsAbility to work with Business/Program Manager PartnersSkills/ExperienceStrong Integrity, EthicsStrong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactionsStrong interpersonal/communication/written skillsBachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of degree, MBA a plus8 years of progressive experience in contracts administrationNo clearance required but prefer TS/SCI ClearanceKnowledge of and experience with FAR, DFARS, other agency supplements, Commercial Products and applicable U.S. laws and regulationsStrong interpersonal/communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in Microsoft Office ProductsExperience in Deltek/Costpoint for Contracts, Procurement and reporting$000000 - $000000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors. Riverside Research Institute is a not-for-profit, technology-oriented defense company, where service to our customers and support of our staff is our overall mission.
