Job SummaryThe Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day, full-cycle, accounting functions of the organization in conformity with US GAAP.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpdate banking information daily, create ACH payments, and apply paymentsCreate accounts receivable invoices in Great Plains from revenue filesPost AR payments to sales invoicesPrepare month end journal entries for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, revenue, other allocations, and balance sheet reconciliationsResponsible for reviewing contracts to determine revenue calculationPrepare end of study reconciliations for the AR teamResearch AR variances as per the CRO's/Sponsors and work with internal teams to determine if adjustments, corrections, or credits are neededPrepare intercompany entriesRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from an accredited university is required or equivalent experience.One+ years experience in GL accounting preferredMaster's Degree in Accounting is preferredGreat Plains experience preferredOncology experience preferredWhy Join Us?At NEXT Oncology (an Avacare Business), you'll be part of a mission-driven team that values collaboration, precision, and patient safety.
