Move your career forward working with EAC's highly talented industry professionals who enhance quality of life through engineering excellence!KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Coordination and Communication:Facilitate regular communication with Port Miami personnel and associated stakeholders.Coordinate daily operations with the system operator, Port of Miami and other relevant entities.Operational Supervision:Monitor daily shore power connections and commissioning calls.Oversee compliance with contractual agreements, safety protocols, and operational procedures.Maintenance Oversight:Supervise routine and emergency maintenance activities.Assist with troubleshooting and coordinate repairs with relevant teams.Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols during all shore power operations.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.Ensure all personnel are appropriately trained and certified.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive records of shore power operations, including connection logs, maintenance reports, and safety documentation.Problem Solving and Analysis:Coordination with the Senior Electrical (Lead) to lead investigations into deficiencies and collaborate with manufacturers to resolve operational issues.Perform root cause analyses for operational inefficiencies or failures.Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards for electrical systems.Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping EXPERIENCE:Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical systems installations, operations, or supervision.Proven experience in troubleshooting and coordinating maintenance of complex electrical systems.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.Electrical safety certifications or other relevant technical certifications are a plus.WORK ENVIORMENTFull-time, on-site role based at the Port of Miami.The weekly shift schedule will require availability for nighttime and weekend shifts.Requires availability during emergencies and critical operational periods.EAC Offers:Competitive compensationParticipation in EAC's bonus programMedical, Dental, VisionHealth Maintenance SubsidyLife, AD&D Short Term and Long-Term Disability401k - company contributionVacation (PTO) and HolidaysFlexible work scheduleCareer growth and development - Education and Professional License Reimbursement
