$2,500 Sign-On Bonus Purpose of Position: We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating cnc controlled hydraulic press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to blueprint & specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets and plates. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machine settings and material requirements. Select appropriate tooling and dies based on material type and thickness. Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet blueprint dimensions & specifications. Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain dimensional consistency, part quality and productivity. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Education/Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with CNC press brake machines. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate measurements and angles. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Specific Qualifications Additional Requirements: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach overhead for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks. Comfortable working with tools and machinery in a manufacturing setting.
