Zip Clinic Urgent Care is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) for a full-time, clinic-based position in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This role offers 12-hour shifts with no on-call requirements, competitive hourly compensation with productivity incentives, and an autonomous practice environment supported by established clinical protocols and operational resources. We are looking for an experienced, patient-focused nurse practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory setting and takes pride in delivering high-quality care. This is a hands-on clinical role where you will function as the sole provider on-site, managing a full urgent care patient panel independently. Clinical ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe medications appropriately and provide patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health. Document encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain efficient patient flow, quality outcomes, and a strong patient experience. Practice EnvironmentAverage patient volume of 34 patients per hour, supporting thorough evaluation, quality care, and complete documentation. Clinical leadership and network resources accessible when needed. Fully equipped clinic with on-site diagnostics and Experity EMR. Established workflows and clinical protocols to ensure a consistent, well-supported practice experience. ScheduleFull-time, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week Rotating weekends No on-call requirements Self-scheduling system Additional shifts available via scheduling app with time-and-a-half pay after 40 hours per week CompensationHourly rate of $55$70/hour based on experience, credentials, and clinic assignment. Productivity incentives available above base compensation. Signing and relocation bonuses may be offered based on operational need.
