Details Neuro Progressive Care unit (stepdown/progressive care level) in a hospital setting Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 13-week contract Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required Requirements Active NY RN license required at time of consideration Active BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU RN experience required Epic EMR experience required US Social Security Number required Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted - personal or religious declinations will not be honored No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information A Neuro-Progressive competency exam must be completed upon offer - candidates have 2 attempts to pass Navy blue scrubs are required Candidates residing in the following NY counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington RTO must be requested at time of submission - no blocked scheduling More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out Travel pairs are not accepted for this position American Traveler Job ID #P-681727.
