Family Medicine Physician Location: Los Angeles, California Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: $140.00 – $145.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join a mission-driven outpatient healthcare organization serving underserved and uninsured patient populations in the greater Los Angeles area. This is a part-time outpatient opportunity for a provider who is passionate about delivering accessible, high-quality primary care in a collaborative community health setting. Position Highlights Outpatient-only practice Part-time Saturday schedule Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month No night call No additional weekend call requirements Patient volume of approximately 20–24 patients per day Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment Opportunity to work with underserved and uninsured patient populations Growth potential within the organization Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Perform preventive care visits, follow-ups, and routine health maintenance Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with clinical support staff and specialists as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive health, and disease management Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree required Completion of or current enrollment in a Family Medicine residency program required Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine Active California medical license or ability to obtain preferred Community health or outpatient primary care experience preferred Commitment to serving underserved patient populations strongly preferred Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Excellent benefits package Malpractice coverage CME paid time off and stipend Potential for growth opportunities Approved NHSC scholar site Eligible for federal and state loan repayment programs
