(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - Outpatient Behavioral Healthcare Practice that offers treatment and counseling services for mental health and addiction issues is looking to add an experienced Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to their outstanding behavioral healthcare team which includes psychiatrist, psychologist, nurse practitioners, licensed clinicians, therapist and caring support staff. Group provides a variety of treatment approaches designed to meet the needs of each individual, using the diverse educational background, skills and expertise of their clinicians. Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to a diverse patient population ranging from children through adults. Duties include diagnosing, treating, evaluating and managing acute and chronic mental illnesses, obtaining relevant medical and social histories and conducting physical examinations. Prescribing medications with the purview of all state and federal laws and regulation and meeting with patients for regular follow-up appointments to monitor medications effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to the medication.
