ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: - Contract Length: 13 weeks REQUIREMENTS: - NY State RN License - BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Two (2) years of operating room experience - Experience in a level 1 trauma hospital (highly desired) - ACLS Certification (preferred) - Ability to scrub and circulate ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide nursing care in the operating room for a wide variety of surgical specialties, including but not limited to orthopedics, general surgery, and trauma. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and effective surgical interventions. - Maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument setup and management during surgical procedures. - Monitor and assess patients' conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures. - Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes.
