Inventory Verification Specialist

At Douglas-Guardian, we specialize in the verification of financed assets for manufacturers, banks, and finance companies across the United States and Canada. Our field representatives conduct inventory inspections across various industries, including automobiles, agriculture, lawn & garden, recreational vehicles, powersports, marine, manufactured housing, and music. We are currently seeking dedicated field representatives to perform inventory inspections at business locations on a flexible, part-time basis. You will have the autonomy to schedule your own work, which must occur during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Enjoy your weekends free! No prior experience with inventory finance, retail dealership operations, or floor plan financing is needed, though it can be beneficial. Your eagerness to learn and your ability to thrive in a team environment will be essential. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough physical inspections of dealer inventories and ensure accurate reconciliation against dealer records. Communicate effectively with both dealers and home office personnel. Verify collateral, assess its condition, and provide prompt, accurate reporting. Organize and route inspections for timely and efficient completion. Utilize a company-supplied tablet PC for your services. Have a smart phone (Android or iOS) for daily communications. Skills & Qualifications: A flexible schedule, with availability during weekday business hours. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. A willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius for inspections. Comfortable with mobile applications. Detail-oriented and eager to learn. Strong communication skills.
