We are employee owned and relationship powered.POSITION SUMMARYLocated at our Byron Center, MI location in our Entry Door Division, the person in this position will assist in pulling and preparing customer orders, performing final quality checks, and ensuring timely delivery of Entry Door products. Specifically, the responsibilities for this position include:Pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipmentSecuring and labeling products for deliveryPerforming final quality checks to ensure orders match customer specifications.Using fork trucks and order picking equipment to pull and transport orders.Loading material racks and delivering them to the appropriate staging locationsAssisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehousePerforming other tasks as assigned by the Shipping and Receiving SupervisorIdeal candidates for this position enjoy a physical job that doubles as a gym membership! Satisfaction in seeing a product go from raw stock to a custom product is also a perk of this position. Candidates enjoy working in a team-based environment.This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school diplomaPrior warehouse experience is preferred.REQUIRED SKILLSStrong communication skillsSafe working practicesNatural detail-orientationAbility to accurately pull orders.
