Practicum I for School Counselor: Description of PositionThe Department of Psychology & Counseling at Northeastern State University invitesapplications for a part-time adjunct position serving the counseling program. The successfulcandidate should have expertise and the ability to teach in person and online, and have abackground in school counseling.While our department offers courses on all three campuses including Tahlequah, Broken Arrow,and Muskogee, this position will be based on the Broken Arrow campus.Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be able to teach Practicum I for School CounselorsPart-time faculty in the Counseling program are responsible for developing course materials andteaching assigned courses within the curriculum.All course delivery integrates technology, including Face-to-Face classes.Experience:Previous experience teaching counseling at the graduate level is preferred.Education Requirements:A Master's degree in Counseling required with extensive experience in School Counseling.Salary:$800/Credit hourAnticipated Start Date:Summer 2026Application Deadline PreferenceApplications will be reviewed as they are received.College/Department Statement:The Department of Psychology and Counseling is housed in the College of Education and iscomprised of twenty-three (23) full time faculty members serving an undergraduate program inpsychology and a graduate program in counseling.
