Quality Assurance Nurse Manager (Evenings)

Austin Oasis - Join our Austin Oasis nursing team as a Quality Assurance Nurse. We prefer that you have at least two years minimum supervisory experience. We would consider an RN or LPN for the position. This is a  salaried position required to work 40 hours a week Monday- Friday 3pm-11:30pm (weekends as appropriate; 1 per month minimal). You would become a part of Nursing Management under leadership of DON and ADON.Salary is based on Nursing License (RN or LPN) and years of experience.   Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  Being part of the nursing rotation to work the floor along with ADON, Restorative, MDS and Wound Carev  Psychotropic Programo   Initial assessmentso   Quarterly assessmentso   AIMSo   Behavioral progress noteso   Psychiatrist roundso   Psych orderso   Psych consentso   Complete MDS Section N0400o   Psychotropic care planso   Psychotropic drug reduction trackingo   Psychotropic monthly QA in conjunction with Pharmacistv  Incident Reportso   Review all incident reportso   Investigate all incidents within 24 hourso   Track all incident reportso   Update care plans post incidents within 24 hourso   Implement post incident interventionso   Review all updated assessments and documentation post incidentso   Monthly incidents/falls QAo   Initiate, update and maintain fall risk care planso   Initiate Fall Risk Notification to Familiesv  Rotation with DON/ADON for after hour staffing when absolutely necessaryv  Other duties as assigned by Upper Managementv  Rotate with DON/ADON with holiday staffing (minimal 1 summer and 1 winter)v  Rotate being on call with DON/ADON  IND123
