At the Mandel JCC, you will join a warm, inclusive team that works collaboratively to bring out the best in our community.About the Role?We are looking for a creative and data-driven Digital and Social Media Marketing Manager to support Mandel JCC's presence across all digital and social platforms. You will collaborate closely with our creative team, including designers and videographers, to bring stories to life and enhance the visibility and engagement of our programs across multiple audiences.Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will oversee and manage digital and social media strategies, ensuring cohesive execution across channels while supervising day-to-day content development and performance. You will write and publish content, run email marketing campaigns, maintain the website, and execute paid social media and search engine campaigns. You will also track performance across channels and provide insights to optimize content and campaigns.This is a full-time exempt position. This hands-on position is ideal for a digital marketer who enjoys writing engaging content while applying analytical skills to measure impact and improve performance. The role offers the opportunity to help shape the JCC's voice and connect with our diverse community through compelling storytelling and strategic digital initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Digital MarketingManage and update the Mandel JCC website via CMS, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and a positive user experience.Build and execute email marketing campaigns using Campaign Monitor, including testing and targeting strategies. Maintain an email marketing calendar aligned with organizational priorities.Track and analyze performance across the website, email, and paid search and social campaigns. Present reports and actionable insights to the Senior Director.Plan and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other platforms. Optimize campaigns, manage budgets, and analyze key metrics including CTR, CPA, ROI, open rate, engagement rate, video views, and other conversion metrics.Social Media MarketingManage daily activity across existing platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube); experience with X and TikTok is a plus.Write, edit, and publish compelling short-form and long-form copy tailored to each platform.Collaborate with the creative team, which produces most visual and video content, while independently creating short-form assets when needed, such as quality photos and videos for Stories, Reels, and posts using smartphones and in-app editing tools.Build and maintain content calendars and schedule posts in advance, ensuring alignment with organizational campaigns and initiatives.Monitor and manage communities, responding to audience engagement in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.Use analytics tools including Sprout Social and native platform insights to monitor performance, track trends, and make data-informed content recommendations.Apply hashtag strategies and platform best practices to improve reach and engagement.Reporting, Collaboration, and CoordinationPartner with and support the Senior Director in the execution of marketing projects, campaigns, and initiatives. Work on assigned projects in line with priorities and guidelines within the framework and direction provided by the Senior Director.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure campaign alignment, provide updates, and manage deadlines.Assist in reporting and execution for other marketing initiatives as needed to ensure continuity during staff absences.Stay current with social media and digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.Other ResponsibilitiesUphold professional standards and act in the best interest of the Mandel JCC.Follow the JCC's code of ethics and avoid real or perceived conflicts of interest.Show respect for colleagues, members, and the diverse community the JCC serves.Maintain confidentiality and follow all JCC policies and procedures.Perform other job duties as assigned.Ideal Candidate RequirementsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related role.Proven experience managing paid campaigns on Meta platforms and Google Ads, including setting up campaigns and budgets, targeting and segmenting audiences, and optimizing performance.Understanding of key metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROI, engagement rate, video views, and open rate.Hands-on experience managing websites and comfortable using CMS platforms; basic familiarity with CMS tools is expected. Knowledge of Google Analytics is required. Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.Experience with email marketing software such as Campaign Monitor, Contant Contact or Mail Chimp, and familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprout Social and project management platforms like .Strong writing and editing skills for web, email, social media, and paid advertising, with the ability to create engaging short-form content when needed, including videos, Stories, Reels, and quality photos using smartphones.Strong aesthetic sense, attention to visual detail, and overall attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proactive, collaborative, and highly organized with excellent time management skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).On-site work required at the Mandel JCC in Beachwood, Ohio, with the ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.Willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed including evenings and weekends for events, updates, and campaign adjustments.We recognize that great candidates may not meet each qualification listed here.
