Please explore our website to better understand the exciting civil projects designed by MKA's team.Successful MKA Civil Engineering Technician Proficiently use Civil3D to design and apply modeling expertise in a variety of areas, including site grading, pipe networks, road alignments, and corridor modelingProficiency in creating civil engineering design elements, as well as preparing technical drawings and construction plansAdept at successfully implementing developed standards to produce high quality documentsAre self-motivated and strive for excellence in all aspectsHave effective organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skillsConsistently think beyond rote training to thoughtfully and creatively design civil solutionsDisplay a desire for growth and welcome advancement opportunitiesWelcome the collaborative and iterative process that comes with designing world-class sites with landscape architects, architects, engineers, and clientsRequirements Associate's degree or certificate in Civil Design Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or similar field Experience with the following technical software: AutoCAD and Civil3D (Experience in Revit, Rhino, InfraWorks, VectorWorks, Global Mapper, and ArcGIS and/or familiarity with cloud sharing/data management platforms like ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360- though not required, is a plus)Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience with Civil3D modeling experienceAbility to communicate technical concepts in an accessible mannerUnderstanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and construction methodsExperience with the following software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BlueBeamFluency in English (written and spoken)Must be authorized to work in the United StatesSalary Description $80,000 - $100,000 Annually
