THE JOB: As a Busperson at Best Friend by Roy Choi in Park MGM, you will support a lively, high-energy dining experience that blends Korean flavors with a vibrant, street-market-inspired atmosphere. In this role, you will maintain the entire restaurant-including the dining room, storerooms, food pickup areas, and beverage stations-in accordance with established cleanliness and stock standards. Your speed, awareness, and teamwork will help keep service running smoothly and ensure the space remains organized and guest-ready, contributing to an engaging and well-executed dining experience. THE STARTING RATE: $14.6197 USD Hourly + tips THE DAY-TO-DAY: * Work with servers to ensure proper guest service * Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas * Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed * Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles * Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently * Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed * Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: * Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required * Must be 18 years of age or older * 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a busser or food runner preferred THE PERKS & BENEFITS: * Free meals in our employee dining room. * Free parking on and off shift. * Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees). * Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally. * Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more. * Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community.
