This role reports to the Director of Marketing, based in the Miami office.Position SummaryThe Practice Development Specialist will work closely with the Global Corporate Marketing Team to advance, coordinate, and contribute to a broad range of marketing and business development activities, while working collaboratively with, and as an integral part of, the firm's global marketing and business development team.Key ResponsibilitiesGathers and organizes information needed for legal directories and ranking submissions (e.g., Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers)Prepares content for proposals and RFP responses by drawing from practice descriptions, experience repositories, attorney bios, and client dataFacilitates the effective exchange of information between attorneys and the marketing department, helping to maintain up-to-date biographies, practice descriptions, experience logs, and news itemsEnters and maintains accurate information in relevant marketing databases, ensuring data integrity and proper storageSubmits and tracks requests to the marketing intelligence team for research, proposals, and other strategic projectsDelivers responsive, high-quality support to both internal stakeholders and external clientsEngages collaboratively with colleagues across marketing and other business services functions, fostering strong working relationships throughout the firmProvides assistance on additional marketing initiatives and special projects as assignedQualificationsSkills & CompetenciesA self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independentlyExcellent prioritization and time management skillsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oralFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environmentStrong client-first work ethicAbility to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the organization and with external clientsA positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and possesses excellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsEducation & Prior ExperienceBachelor's degree is requiredMinimum 5-8 years marketing experience; legal or professional services marketing experience highly preferredTechnologyHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)GT is an EEO employer with an inclusive workplace committed to merit-based consideration and review without regard to an individual's race, sex, or other protected characteristics and to the principles of non-discrimination on any protected basis.
