Major Job Duties: 1) Disassemble, wash, cleans, sanitize and reassembles production line equipment & utensils according to the SSOP. 2) Clean walls, floors, ceiling, and overhead pipes. 3) Correctly operates equipment operations and controls. 4) Follow sanitation procedures for proper chemical solutions used and proper concentrations so that it is not harmful to workers, equipment or our product. 5) General housekeeping- keeps building’s interior and exterior clean and orderly by following Master cleaning schedule & SSOP. 6) Follows all safety procedures and completes safety training. Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and PPE. Reports any injury, accident or unsafe condition immediately to supervisor. 7) Performs packaging duties when overnight production is needed. 8) Scrub, wipe, scrap, vacuum, mop, squeegee, foam, and hose down. 9) Notifies Sanitation Leader or Supervisor of all machine breakdowns during or after the sanitation of equipment. Essential job functions: 1) Ability to understand and follow safety rules or procedures. 2) Must be able to lift 35 lbs. from floor to shoulder and from shoulder to floor. 3) Stand, bend, twist, reach, kneel, and squat. 4) Frequently cleaning tasks are performed at heights (i.e. ladders, catwalks, scissor lifts, elevated platforms, etc.) 5) Push or pull a force weight of 50+lbs. 6) Operate lift trucks.(forklifts, scissor lifts, hand trucks) 7) Scrub and/or scrap with hands continuous. 8) Frequently reach out, bend at waist, and hold static positions. 9) Grasp and manipulate small hand tools (i.e. wrenches, putty knife, screwdrivers, etc.) 10) Use hands to scrub or scrap continuously. 11) Sweep, squeegee, vacuum or mop. 12) Periodically work in close quarters. 13) Environment exposures: odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals. 14) Wear provided PPE (hearing protectors, rubber boots, aprons, gloves, goggles and face shields, etc.) 15) Properly handle, transport and use appropriate chemicals in the correct concentrations. 16) Determine colors, read numbers, safety signs, and areas that need cleaning. 17) Work as a team to complete tasks. 18) Dependable attendance. 19) Clean equipment or area, according to the SSOP, within cleaning time deadlines. 20) Follow written or verbal direction given by supervisor.
