DetailsClient Name Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center University Hospital Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty OR Job ID 36064379 Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Weekly Pay $2457.0 Shift DetailsShift Days - 4 x 10 Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order DetailsStart Date 05/04/2026 End Date 08/03/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description Title Operating Room RN - Level 1 Trauma Schedule - Variable shifts: days/evenings; 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts - Call: Required Monday-Friday 2100-0630 - Weekend coverage: Saturday & Sunday 12-hour blocks (0630-1900 and 1900-0630) - Weekend expectation: Up to 3 weekend shifts per 13 weeks Assignment Details - Unit: Level 1 Trauma Operating Room (18 beds) - Daily volume: ~45-50 surgical procedures per day Requirements - Minimum 2 years OR RN experience - Preferred: Experience in Level 1 trauma centers - Epic charting experience required - Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS - License: RN with valid compact or state license in hand Roles & Responsibilities - Provide circulating and perioperative care for orthopedic, neurosurgery/spine, and general surgery cases. - Manage patient care in the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and proper equipment usage. - Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate safe and effective surgical procedures. - Monitor and manage patient status throughout the perioperative process. - Assist with the implementation of robotic and laparoscopic procedures. - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
