Data Collection: Unit Information: MICU Location: Riverside CA Address: 4445 Magnolia St., Riverside CA Floor: G4 Building: G Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 35 • Number of Staff - 94 • Type of staff: o Day Shift - dependent on census - 1 CNC (charge), 1 PCT, up to 19 RNs o Night Shift - dependent on census - 1 CNC (charge), 1 PCT, up to 19 RNs • Patient Ratios - 1:2 • Type of equipment - EVDs, ventilators, EV1000, rapid infusers, Ceribell • EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • Greater than 1 year ICU experience • Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • Neurological, trauma, or cardiac ICU experience • Experience as a preceptor and/or charge nurse List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • Central line/HD/a-line insertion, wound care, post-neurological intervention care • Best personality Fit: • Positive, upbeat, hard working REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: • ACLS, BLS Floating Area(s): • SICU, CVU, PCU, ED holds (ICU patients) Dress Code: • Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. • Will be discussed on arrival to unit Weekends and On call(if any) • Every other weekend (day shift is Saturday/Sunday, night shift is Friday/Saturday) Show more
