50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE LICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION Unit Stepdown/Med Surg # of beds 20 Ratios Stepdown 1:3 and Floor 1:5-6 Required certifications BLS, ACLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients Resp issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, chest pain Experience or 'Must have' skills Stepdown experience Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, aminodarone Charge Nurse/House Supervisor House Supervisor Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios Yes, 2 per shift RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) RT cpap, bipap, high flow Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Yes, monitored at Ruby Shifts & Scheduling 12hr Weekend Requirement 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks schedule Holiday Requirement Rotate/ eve or day Is there a call or standby requirement? no Floating Requirements no Scrub Color/Dress Code Royal blue Unit/Department specific orientation yes
