Job Details Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Nurse / Cardiac Nurse Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,660 - $2,800 (competitive travel nurse pay) Location: York, Pennsylvania (17403) - York, PA; Pennsylvania nursing jobs; Central PA Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 - July 27, 2026) Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM); may work between 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM Weekend & Holiday Coverage: As needed Call Requirements: Minimal, primarily to assist full-time staff Facility: Tobacco and fragrance-free Job Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (interventional cardiology and EP experience highly preferred) Active RN license in the U.S. (no license hits accepted) ACLS & BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only) EPIC charting experience required (EPIC proficiency for cardiac nursing documentation) Comfortable caring for COVID patients and following isolation precautions Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract Pre-employment training modules (5-6 hours) completed prior to start COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) Cath Lab RN Responsibilities Assist with invasive cardiology procedures including complex coronary interventions and structural heart procedures (TAVR, mitral valve clipping, PFO/ASD closure) Support EP (electrophysiology) procedures, pacemaker and ICD implantation Participate in advanced therapies as indicated: VAD/ECMO support when applicable Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care in a unit comprised of 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, and 2 shared cath/EP labs Monitor procedural sedation, administer emergency medications, and manage vascular access devices Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, perform EKG/ECG interpretation, and assist with cardioversion Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology physicians, advanced practice providers, techs) to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain infection prevention standards and adhere to isolation precautions Stay until the last patient is cared for each shift to ensure safe handoff and continuity of care This Cath Lab travel nurse position is ideal for experienced cardiac nurses and interventional cardiology RNs seeking short-term travel assignments in Pennsylvania.
