Candidates may occasionally be required to substitute one weekday for a Saturday session (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver high-quality outpatient primary care services to a diverse patient population, including geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and have experience in hormone replacement therapy, wellness, and preventative care. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care and internal medicine services in an outpatient setting Perform thorough patient evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate Manage chronic conditions and support ongoing, longitudinal patient care Educate patients on wellness, preventative health, lifestyle modifications, and weight management Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Athenahealth (Athena) or a similar EHR system Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable clinical and regulatory standards Qualifications & Experience Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active and unrestricted Texas NP or PA license Active DEA license required FNP-C or PA-C certification required Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required Experience in outpatient clinics, primary care, internal medicine, or post-acute care settings Experience in hormone replacement therapy is required Background in wellness, preventative medicine, or weight management preferred Experience caring for geriatric populations Spanish speaking is required Proficiency with Athenahealth or similar EHR systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic evaluation, and ICD-10 coding Additional Details Full-time position only (no part-time openings at this time) One open position currently, with potential future openings Not open to new graduates Patient volume: Approximately 30-35 patients per day (mix of in-person and telemedicine) Patient age range: 12 to 95 years Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: 3 rounds Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Performance-based bonus structure 401(k) with employer matching Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance If you're interested or want more details, feel free to call me at 469-290-8978or email me at .
