Cath Lab Registered Nurse | Stamford, Connecticut

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Cath Lab expertise to support a busy cardiac and neuro procedural unit. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to advanced cardiovascular and neuro interventional procedures in a dynamic hospital setting located near Stamford, CT. Responsibilities: Provide expert circulating and scrubbing nursing support during Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), and Neuro procedures Monitor and assist patients through complex interventions including Mechanical Thrombectomy, Coiling, Pipeline, and Embolizations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care quality Participate in on-call rotation covering weekday nights, every fourth weekend, and select holidays Qualifications and Experience: Valid CT RN license required Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab/EP procedural nursing experience Proficient in circulating nursing duties for Cath, EP, and Neuro cases; scrubbing skills highly desired Current ACLS and BLS certification Preferred certifications include CCRN, CI, CV, and RCIS Neuro experience specifically with mechanical thrombectomy and embolization procedures is a strong plus Schedule and Location: 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week between Monday and Friday with variable start times (6 AM, 7 AM, or 8 AM) On-call duties one weekday night (5 PM - 7 AM), every fourth weekend (Fri 5 PM - Mon 7 AM), including some holidays Located near Stamford, CT, providing access to vibrant urban amenities with a suburban feel, excellent dining, parks, and commuting options This contract role offers an immersive experience in a cutting-edge procedural environment handling complex cardiovascular and neurological cases.
