Job Title: Clinical Medical Assistant (Contract) Job Type: 2-Month Contract Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $24/hr Location: Aurora, Colorado Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support in a patient-centered healthcare setting. This role focuses on supporting participant care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and assisting medical staff in delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities:Clinical Support & Patient Care Assist in prioritizing daily participant scheduling by collaborating with medical staff to manage patient flow Take vital signs and collect specimens, including phlebotomy, finger sticks, and pulse oximetry, as requested Report abnormal findings and changes to the Registered Nurse or Provider Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with positioning and ensuring readiness for care Support providers and nurses with medical procedures and treatments within scope of training Assist with preparation and administration of medications (e.g., inhalers, eye drops, injections) based on qualifications Lab & Documentation Duties Ensure all lab specimens are properly labeled and prepared for timely courier pickup Confirm receipt of lab results and follow up with lab vendors as needed Perform necessary charting, filing, and clerical duties to maintain accurate records Complete assigned weekly audits Administrative & Operational Support Schedule internal and external appointments, including specialist visits and lab work Educate participants and communicate lab results as directed Maintain exam room cleanliness, stock supplies, and manage inventory/reordering needs Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to perform phlebotomy and EKGs At least 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations High school diploma or GED Please apply today! #LDTA
