Job Details Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Columbus, Ohio; Ohio nursing jobs) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050-$2160/week Setting: Level 1 Trauma / Level I Trauma Center; 18-bed Operating Room Assignment Type: Travel Nurse - Operating Room / Perioperative Nurse Start Date: April 20, 2026 End Date: July 20, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights - 3x12-hour (18:30 - 07:00); variable shifts may include days/evenings, 8s, 10s, or 12s Hours per Week: 36 Call: Required (M-F 21:00-06:30; Sat/Sun 06:30-19:00 & 19:00-06:30); holiday/weekend coverage as needed Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Procedures per Day: 45-50 (high-volume surgical OR / surgical RN environment) Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN / perioperative nursing experience Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers required (Level I Trauma experience preferred) Active RN license (compact license accepted or Ohio RN license in hand at submission) Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required EPIC charting experience required (EPIC experience preferred) NIHSS certification preferred Two professional references (at least one from a manager/director or formal leader) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Responsibilities Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical procedures including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries Circulate and assist in Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases as an experienced OR RN / surgical RN Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EPIC; ensure compliance with documentation standards Float to different units within the organization as needed and support perioperative team needs Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend/holiday coverage as required Join our healthcare team: Apply now to be considered for this Travel OR RN role in Columbus, Ohio.
