Record all entries on flow sheets (ADLs. I&Os, percentage of meals eaten, vitals, bowel & bladder) in an informative, descriptive and legible manner. Record additional entries as requested/required by the charge nurse. Use only authorized abbreviations established by this facility when recording information. Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical. Report all accidents and incidents observed as they occur. Transports residents to assigned locations for activity. Monitor and supervise residents at all times to ensure resident safety. Assist in passing meal trays to residents at meal times. Ensure the correct tray is given to the correct resident. Assist and participate in a hydration program. Be knowledgeable and follow all safety procedures and regulations established in the employee handbook and other policies. Assist patients at meal times Qualifications: Highschool diploma or GED Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state. Six months of experience in a sub-acute setting in a skilled nursing or in a hospital is required. Active BLS/CPR What We Offer: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
