REGISTERED NURSE - ONCOLOGY NURSE NAVIGATOR CONTRACT POSITION | 13 WEEKS Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Oncology Nurse Navigator for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an RN with oncology experience who can guide and support patients throughout their cancer treatment journey while coordinating care with the clinical team. POSITION DETAILS Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Nurse Navigator Start Date: March 30, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Number of Positions: 2 Shift: Day Shift - 5x8 Hours Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary point of contact for oncology patients throughout their care journey. Coordinate care between patients, physicians, oncology specialists, and multidisciplinary teams. Assist patients with scheduling appointments, treatment planning, and follow-up care. Provide education and support regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and potential side effects. Facilitate timely access to diagnostic testing, therapies, and supportive services. Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records. Advocate for patients and ensure high-quality, patient-centered oncology care. REQUIREMENTS Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Oncology experience required. Strong patient education and care coordination skills. Experience in ambulatory or oncology settings preferred. Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Contract assignment with orientation provided. On-call requirements may apply.
