Austin Faris Corrections LPN | Details and Compensation Location: Marysville, OH Schedule: 3 days per week Shift: 6:15 AM - 7:30 PM Availability Required: Must be available any day of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays Work Setting: 100% onsite Pay Rate: $30.00/hour Position Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Corrections LPN | Position Summary The Corrections LPN will provide direct nursing care within scope of practice under the direction of licensed medical professionals. This role includes medication administration, patient observation, documentation, support with activities of daily living, and assistance with patient care coordination. The ideal candidate will be flexible, dependable, and comfortable working in a highly structured environment with evolving facility needs. Corrections LPN | Responsibilities Administer nursing care within scope of practice under the direction of licensed healthcare providers Administer medications, including oral, topical, rectal, and injectable medications as permitted Assist with oxygen administration, sterile dressings, catheter insertion, wound irrigation, and other nursing procedures Monitor and document patient conditions, treatment responses, medication reactions, and behavioral changes Maintain medication accountability records, stock supplies, and update patient charts and related documentation Take vital signs and assist with personal care needs including hygiene, grooming, bathing, and activities of daily living Reposition patients and respond to patient needs and alarms as appropriate Assist with recreational and treatment plan activities as assigned Support lower-level care staff by providing direction, training, and assistance in general patient care Order medications and supplies and maintain cleanliness of nursing stations and medication areas Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining reports and logs Participate in staff meetings, care conferences, and training programs as assigned Corrections LPN | Requirements Active Ohio LPN license required Current BLS/CPR certification required Ability to work 6:15 AM - 7:30 PM Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends Must be flexible with schedule changes based on facility needs Strong documentation and patient care skills Ability to work effectively in a secure and structured environment Corrections LPN | Important Information Submissions must include all required documents to be considered If selected, TB test, drug screening, and additional onboarding items must be completed promptly No cell phones or personal items permitted inside the facility Food and drinks must be brought in clear containers only Must be able to clear facility security requirements Corrections LPN | Benefits Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service on eligibility dates Take the Next Step If you're a licensed LPN looking for a new opportunity in Marysville, OH, apply today for immediate consideration.
