Architectural Drafter

Architectural Drafter Location: Dayton, Ohio Position Overview An architectural and design firm is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join its team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in architecture or drafting technology who is looking to begin their career in a professional design environment. The drafter will assist architects and designers in preparing technical drawings, models, and construction documents using industry software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities Assist project teams in producing architectural drawings and construction documents Develop and modify floor plans, elevations, sections, and details Update drawings based on architect or project manager markups Support the preparation of Revit models and drawing sets Coordinate with architects, designers, and consultants on project documentation Maintain drawing standards and assist with file organization and project documentation Participate in team meetings and design discussions to support project development Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Drafting Basic knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD Understanding of architectural drawings and construction documentation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Internship or studio project experience in architecture or drafting is a plus Skills Revit (preferred) AutoCAD Microsoft Office Basic understanding of building design and documentation What You'll Gain Hands-on experience working on commercial and interior architecture projects Mentorship from experienced architects and designers Exposure to the full architectural project lifecycle Opportunities for professional growth and development within a collaborative design environment If you meet the requirements for this position and are interested in discussing the opportunity in more detail, please apply directly to this post.
