The Staff Accountant will have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented and ability to juggle responsibilities with a high level of confidentiality. You'll work on a team primarily paying bills/invoices and reconciliations to the general ledger. Opportunity to learn payroll and contribute to the team. A professional with good research as well as follow up skills. Lots of room to grow. Responsibilities Review, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner. Code and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system. Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, wire transfers, and international wire transfers. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies. Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries in a professional manner. Record and apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to appropriate accounts. Monitor bank accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date. Reconcile bank accounts at the month-end. Generate client cash reports using an accounting software for monthly client deliverables and for in-house review of client disbursements and updating disbursement reports. Assist with year-end 1099 preparation, requesting and filing W-9 forms. Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting. 1 -5 years full time experience in Accounts Payable or accounting-related field. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Detail-oriented and Team Player. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. #LIMAR026 #LI-AS1
