Class B Truck Driver

Class B Truck Driver Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class B Boom Truck Drivers for direct-hire in Fort Wayne, IN! Pay rate is $24-$28 per hour; DOE, with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday - Friday possible weekend work. There is a 6am start time working 8 - 10 hours per day. Position Overview: Operates crane or boom on delivery truck, including rigging, planning and hoisting of a variety of heavy construction materials. Drives delivery vehicle to transport product, materials or supplies to and from locations and at customer site. Loads and/or unloaded materials that require the operation of a crane/boom by rigging, planning and hoisting a variety of heavy construction materials onto delivery trucks. Calculates the boom/crane capacities and weights and checks clearances so that buildings, hydro wires and foundation of the machine will not be damaged during operation. Calculates weight of materials to ensure it is not over weight limits of the truck and/or DOT regulations. Miscellaneous: Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, and kneeling. Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust. Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills. Ability to read and understand machine and equipment diagrams and system schematics. Proper and thorough Pre and Post trips are crucial. Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, and Hours of Service rules. Driving company vehicle safely and responsibly per DOT regulations. Qualifications: Valid CDL Class B License. Minimum of 2+ Year of Recent and Verifiable Class B Experience, and 1+ Year of Boom/Crane Experience. Valid DOT Medical Card. Clean MVR. Clean Background.
