Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $430 - $470 Location: Florence, AL 35630 (Florence, Alabama) Position: Hospital Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Travel CNA Employment Type: Travel Contract Duration: 8 weeks (April 1, 2026 - May 27, 2026) Shift: 12-hour Nights (19:00 - 07:30) - Overnight CNA / Night Shift Hours per Week: 36 On-Site Position Required Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, current and in good standing Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a hospital, acute care, or similar healthcare setting (hospital CNA, acute care CNA, or medical-surgical experience preferred) Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and caring for a diverse inpatient population Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills Proficiency with basic documentation, charting, and vital sign monitoring Primary Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs; report changes promptly to RN/LPN staff Provide direct patient care and clinical support to RNs and LPNs during the night shift Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled patient environment following hospital policies Assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and safe mobility using proper body mechanics Offer emotional support and comfort to patients and family members during overnight hours Follow hospital procedures for documentation, patient safety, confidentiality, and handoff communication Why Work in Florence, Alabama?
