Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital, requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and active Epic proficiency. Job Details • Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, designated as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching facility, • Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6, • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, • Every other weekend required, • Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs, including between like units or a sister campus, • No on-call requirements, • Charting performed in Epic (experience required), Job Requirements • Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand - pending licenses are not accepted, • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), • Epic EMR experience required, • SSN and date of birth required for consideration, Additional Information • Royal blue and white scrubs required, • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position, • Pre-start orientation modules are required (approximately 4-10 hours), • RTO is permitted at manager's discretion, with a maximum of 4 days per contract, • Only one holiday off can be approved per contract, • Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning, • Travelers on night shift may extend up to twice before needing a 6-month break prior to returning, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
