Hospitalist Physician Assistant

PRN Hospitalist NP/PA Day & Night Coverage 1 Hour South of Atlanta Upson Regional Medical Center Thomaston, Georgia Core Clinical Partners Core Clinical Partners is expanding onsite Hospital Medicine services at Upson Regional Medical Center and is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support both day and night coverage within our growing program. This role provides flexible coverage within a structured and collaborative Hospital Medicine model as we continue strengthening onsite services. Program Structure Day Coverage Model: • 1 Day Hospitalist Physician • 1 Day NP/PA Night Coverage Model: • Dedicated Nocturnist NP/PA (7 PM 7 AM) PRN Coverage Needs: • Day shifts (7 AM 7 PM) • Night shifts (7 PM 7 AM) • Flexible scheduling based on program needs Average Daily Census: 30 115-bed community hospital 10-bed Open ICU with tele-intensivist support EMR: Meditech Expanse Clinical Responsibilities Admit patients to medical/surgical floors, ICU, and specialty units Complete H&P documentation Manage cross-coverage Collaborate with tele-intensivists for ICU patients Perform bedside procedures as clinically indicated Procedural experience is strongly preferred, including central lines and intubations. Integrated EM & HM Partnership Core Clinical Partners also manages the Emergency Medicine service at Upson, creating strong collaboration between EM and Hospital Medicine. This integrated model supports smoother admissions, strong communication, and cohesive leadership across services. Qualifications Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospital Medicine experience preferred ACLS and BLS required (AHA certifications) Comfortable practicing with autonomy in both day and night settings Employment Model W-2 employment PRN / per diem structure No non-compete About Core At Core Clinical Partners, we re redefining healthcare partnerships by doing things better.
