Medical Laboratory Scientist

Pride Health is hiring Medical Laboratory Scientist to support our client’s medical facility based in Seattle, WA. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist Location: Seattle, WA Schedule: 3rd shift, 12am - 8:30am (Tuesday - Saturday) Pay Range/Salary Range: $35 - $40 Contract Duration: 3+ months Job Description: Perform specimen handling, processing, and analysis using approved procedures Review, verify, and release test results accurately Maintain quality control records, calibrations, and equipment maintenance Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA) Identify and resolve testing issues; document corrective actions Report critical results promptly as per protocol Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records Ensure reagents and test kits are properly labeled and within validity Participate in training, safety programs, and inspections Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent) Certification (ASCP/AMT) preferred or eligible Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience (preferred) Knowledge of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) Strong computer and multitasking skills Additional Requirements: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively Strong communication and customer service skills Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Interested?
