Medical Business Development Liaison The Growth and Market Development Representative is responsible for driving strategic expansion across assigned markets by supporting provider and employer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing utilization of key service offerings. This role blends account management, business development, and partner engagement to ensure growth targets are achieved and markets are well supported operationally and strategically. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly organized, and skilled at identifying opportunities for increased revenue and service adoption. Market Growth Expansion Support development and execution of growth strategies across key markets. Identify opportunities to expand service utilization within existing provider and employer accounts. Conduct outreach to prospective partners and assist in onboarding new accounts. Track and report on regional growth metrics and market performance. Provider Employer Partner Engagement Build, maintain and enhance long-term client relationships, serving as their main point of contact to address their needs and concerns. Serve as a relationship owner for assigned strategic accounts. Conduct regular business reviews, service updates, and performance check-ins. Address partner needs proactively and collaborate internally to resolve issues quickly. Work closely with providers and employer groups to understand gaps, needs, and opportunities. Market Development Activities Represent the organization at partner meetings, employer events, and provider office visits. Support the rollout of new services or programs within assigned markets. Facilitate communication between partners and internal clinical, operational, and sales teams. Maintain a strong understanding of local market dynamics, competition, and service demand. Data Insights Monitor referral patterns, utilization data, performance metrics and client feedback to identify trends and opportunities. Prepare dashboards, summary reports, forecasts on engagement performance and presentations for leadership and strategic accounts. Recommend improvements to processes, workflows, and partner engagement strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with sales teams on targeted growth initiatives. Work with operations to support smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery. Collaborate with marketing to develop outreach materials or engagement campaigns. Qualifications This position currently does not have supervisory responsibilities. Required Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent work experience). Required Experience 24 years of experience in market development, business development, account management, or provider/employer relations. Required Licenses and Certifications N/A Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and summarize insights for decision-making. Comfortable with travel and field-based partner engagement. Communication and Negotiation: Excellent ability to communicate, listen, understand, and negotiate effectively with clients and internal teams. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and organizational goals. Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage timelines, resources, and various project components. Client Focus: Deep commitment to understanding and meeting client needs, ensuring their satisfaction. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Skillful in analyzing market data and complex problems to develop effective solutions. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare, diagnostics, occupational health, or employer benefits industry experience is preferred. CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) is preferred. Prior experience supporting multi-site or multi-account growth initiatives is preferred. This position does not currently have financial responsibilities. This position does not currently have budget responsibilities. Advanced English is required. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. 2030% regional travel to provider sites, employer partners, and market events.
