Locum tenens opportunity Timeframe: May/June through August Position covers half-time at one site focused primarily on substance use disorder and/or severe and persistent mental illness , and half-time at another site focused on general family medicine Sites are located approximately 8 miles apart Seeking a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner Post-training experience required FQHC setting Client prefers candidates with experience caring for low-income children and families , including those in migrant and community health settings Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts Option to work four 10-hour shifts , if preferred Organization provides primary care, behavioral health, and dental services Required Qualifications Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Comfort and experience with both initiation and maintenance of buprenorphine Experience treating substance use disorders and severe and persistent mental illness Comfortable treating all patient populations Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish Experience with hormone therapy for gender-affirming care is helpful but not required EMR Epic Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more.
