Neurology Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner, Colleyville, TX (Hybrid) Job Type: Full Time Shift: Days(Mon-Fri) Monday / Wednesday / Thursday in clinic Tuesday telehealth (WFH) Friday admin day (WFH) Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, including neurological exams and history taking Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., MRI, CT, EEG, lab work) Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with neurologists Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications Provide follow-up care, including medication management and symptom monitoring Assist in urgent consultations and triage of neurological patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program National NP certification (e.g., AANP or ANCC) Experience in neurology, internal medicine, or critical care preferred Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Preferred Skills: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) Experience with procedures such as lumbar punctures or Botox for migraine (optional) Willingness to participate in clinical research or teaching (if applicable) Experience with infusion clinic management preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance offered or able to receive reimbursement for employee only Generous PTO and CME allowance Health insurance Paid time off
