Neurosurgical group Under the listed procedures, removal of drains is mentioned -can you confirm if this refers to standard post-operative drains (e.g., JP or Hemovac), or if pigtail drains are also included? All of the above -removal of EVD, hemovac, JP drains, pigtails, lumbar drains, sutures and staples. Our APP reprograms VP shunts. The program devices most commonly used are Progav 2.0 (MRI compatible), Strata MR and Strata, Certas. He also taps shunts if there is concern for infection to test CSF fluid.
