Project Accountant The Project Accountant is responsible for completing pay applications and assisting with billing. This person will work in direct support of the Accounting Manager. Essential Functions Assist with billing, specifically in regard to Locklear/Rogers projects Reconcile jobs Change order research and help get change orders for all salesmen Proper project close out Comsense reports, cleaning up WIP and sales orders Research back charges, missing material, change orders, etc. Other relative duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associates' degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience Experience in both construction and accounting related positions preferred Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong mathematical and analytical skills required Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products specifically Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills are also critical Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. It routinely involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing systems. Occasional business travel may be required.
