Shift: 3 12s 7a-7p Patient Population: Vascular Surgery, minimally invasive Cardiovascular surgery Patient Ratios: 1 RN and 1 tech per case. High acuity cases may have 2 RNs and 1 tech. Number of Beds: 4 ORs Department Specifics: >95% of RNs have BSN, 60% are Specialty Certified. We have world-renowned surgeons, we use RNs to scrub, and we can teach you. Involved in the latest innovations, strong practice councils and opportunity for leadership advancement. Call requirements: one weeknight every week, one weekend every 6th weekend, and one holiday per year. Qualifications - Education: Grad of an Accredited Program; Major: Nursing; Experience: 1 year of OR RN Experience, preferably 2 years; Some experience in hearts; Highly prefer an RN who scrubs; Certification/License/Registration: Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
