Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet established cleanliness, safety, and brand standards. This role provides leadership, training, and support to housekeeping team members while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.Essential Job FunctionsSupervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants and housepersonsInspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and brand quality standards are metAssign daily work schedules and manage room assignments based on occupancy and operational needsTrain, coach, and mentor housekeeping associates on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and service standardsEnsure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and safety regulationsMonitor productivity and maintain staffing efficiencyRespond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situationsMaintain inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning suppliesReport maintenance issues and coordinate with Engineering for timely resolutionAssist with onboarding and performance evaluations of team membersSupport departmental goals related to guest satisfaction scores and cleanliness metricsPromote a positive, professional, and team-focused work environmentQualificationsPrevious housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment requiredPrior supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lead and motivate a diverse teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidaysBasic computer skills and familiarity with hotel property management systems preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 25-40 lbsFrequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motionAbility to inspect multiple floors and guest rooms dailyBenefitsCompetitive payHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offHotel travel discountsCareer growth opportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
